Winter Skills Premier Training

The A3 Winter Skills Premier Training sessions are designed for players with an intermediate to advanced skill level looking to improve their game. Participants will undergo technical training focused on ball mastery, passing, and shooting and then get to utilize these skills in controlled scrimmages focused on quick play, teamwork, and game IQ. Trainings will be conducted by Premier Staff Coaches and have a max participant count of 16 so that players receive individualized attention. All sessions take place indoors at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville on Friday evenings. Participants will receive a training jersey included in the registration cost.

Training I Dates:   Dec 3 - Feb 25th (no 12/24, 12/31, 1/14)

Times:  530-645 (2012-2013), 645-8pm (2009-2011), 8-930pm (2006-2008)

Costs:   $150 for 530 and 645pm sessions; $175 for 8pm session

Registration Closes:  Dec 10

Maximum players per time slot:  16

 

Winter Tots Program

The A3 Winter Tots Program is for children who are new to the game and/or just started playing! Our program will place an emphasis on the social and character developments of the players while introducing the children to the game of soccer in a very elementary yet FUN manner. The 10-week program is available this winter to keep the engagement and interest in being active and having fun! Trainings will be conducted by Futures Coaches and have a max participant count of 16. All sessions take place indoors at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville on Saturday mornings. Participants will receive a training jersey included in the registration cost

Training I Dates:   Dec 4 - Feb 26th (no 12/25, 1/1, 1/15)

Times:  815am (2016-2017) or 915am (2015)

Costs:   $120

Winter Skills County Program

The A3 Winter Skills County Training sessions are designed for players with a beginner to intermediate skill level looking to improve their game. Participants will undergo technical training focused on ball mastery, passing, and shooting and then get to utilize these skills in controlled scrimmages focused on quick play, teamwork, and game IQ. Trainings will be conducted by Premier Staff Coaches and have a max participant count of 16 so that players receive the individualized attention they need while maximizing their time on the ball. Following the 10 winter sessions, players should exude more confidence in their technique and decision making indoors and outdoors. All sessions take place indoors at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville on Saturday afternoons.

Times:  2pm-3pm (2012-2013), 3-4pm (2010-2011), 4-5pm (2007-2009), 5-6pm (2003-2006)

Winter Jr. Academy Skills Program

The emphasis for the A3 Winter Jr. Academy Skills Training sessions will be predominately on foot skills focusing on passing, shooting, and dribbling.  The core focus on indoor soccer for Jr Academy will be technical skills, teamwork, and speed of play.  Sessions will take place between 10 am-2 pm, in 1-hour blocks with a maximum headcount of 20 per block. This means an approximate coaching ratio of 1:7 so that coaches can focus on teaching a very specific skill each week.  Smaller group sizes will allow coaches to provide more individualized attention. Trainings will be conducted by Staff Coaches.  All sessions take place indoors at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville on Saturday afternoons.
