The A3 Director of Goalkeeping is key in the development of A3’s goalkeepers and the team coach's ability to lead goalkeepers in their team training environment. He/she is expected to have a direct impact on every goalkeeper in the club and as such, it is important that his individual establish strong communication ties between A3, the Director of Premier Operations, Team Managers, Team Coaches, and the coaches in their respective age groups. This individual would be responsible for developing and delivering training sessions at least twice a month during club wide training nights. He/she could attend additional sessions throughout the season to help in development.

Job Summary

• Work closely with the A3 Directors, Head Coaches, and other age staff coaches
• Sub Director role reports directly to Director of Premier Operations
• Provide Goalkeeping Instruction to A3 players to the standards of the organization
• Support all coaches, volunteers, and families in the organization
• Conduct trainings within an age group and for all assigned teams
• Coach games, when a coach is unavailable, and if requested
• Attend practice and provide helpful feedback to team coaches in age group
• Provide updates, upcoming events, and ongoing communication with families and coaches
• Develop and grow the goalkeeping players as a cohesive unit
• Grow and add to the goalkeeping curriculum of the club
• Develop practice plans or activities to involve goalkeepers in team practices

Qualifications

• USSF D License or Higher
• Prior Goalkeeping Playing Experience
• Prior Goalkeeping Coach Experience, preferred at a Director Level

Time Commitment

The following paid part time position is available for the Fall season:

• Age Group Sessions (2nd and 4th Friday each month; 5-830pm)
• Team GK Coach (Attend 1 team practice per team each month)

Estimated 36-120 hours per season. 3-10 hours weekly
